Welcome to Intellia Academy. These Terms of Service explain your rights and responsibilities when using our website website intelliaacademy.ca and learning platform. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms of Service
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
Our Services are primarily designed for students in Grades 8–12. To access programs, students must register under these Terms of Service, either directly (if 13+) or with parent/guardian consent.
Students aged 13 and older may register directly for an account.
Students under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian create an account on their behalf, in compliance with COPPA and other applicable laws.
All billing and subscription payments remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all account activity.
Use the account for a single user only. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
2. Subscriptions, Free Lessons, and Payments
2.1. Free Lessons: Intellia Academy offers one or more introductory lessons at no cost. Free lessons allow you to preview our platform and course content before subscribing. No payment method is required. To unlock full access to each Olympiad program, a paid subscription is required.
2.2. Subscriptions and Billing:
Access to complete Olympiad preparation programs (e.g., Economics Olympiad, AI Olympiad) is available via recurring subscription (monthly or annual).
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Annual subscriptions may include discounted pricing (equivalent to free months).
2.3. Payment Processing:
We use third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
2.4. One-Time Purchases:
Some individual courses (e.g., Microeconomics, Game Theory) may be offered as standalone purchases. These are lifetime-access products but do not include other courses in the Olympiad track.
2.5. Cancellation and Refunds:
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are non-refundable. No partial refunds or credits are offered for unused periods or content.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All content provided by Intellia Academy, including but not limited to the Intellia Academy logo, website design, curriculum, videos, text, and problem banks is our exclusive property, protected by copyright and trademark law.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
You may not copy, share, modify, or redistribute our content without written consent.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Share or resell your account access.
Engage in academic dishonesty or cheating.
Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access our content.
Attempt to disrupt, hack, or compromise the platform’s security.
5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, all rights to use the Service immediately cease.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
While our programs are designed to prepare students for Olympiads and contests, we do not guarantee medals, university admissions, or competition results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intellia Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid in the past 12 months.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Substantive changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
